Successfully managing a large portfolio of projects requires a series of efficient and appropriate supporting controls, procedures, tools and products to ensure quality and consistency of delivery. ASE's PPP Process Maturity service will ensure a delivery department has the processes to deliver. However, in addition delivering a large portfolio of projects requires a consistent and tailorable framework of IT Lifecycle related products and tools behind those processes, readily available to delivery teams if delivery quality and consistency is to be achieved.
ASE's Approach
ASE will engage with your IT Department to understand their delivery needs and then tailor and implement an easy to use, customisable, HTML based management framework of templates and core deliverables for your teams to manage programmes and projects.
The framework leads the user through the lifecycle of managing Programmes and Projects and contains information on all parts of the lifecycle, detailing mandatory and optional products (not just the management products but all products) along with templates and examples, all of which can embody the organisation's best practice. The products used are based on MSP and PRINCE2, developed from both ASE Consultants' broad combined experiences, and from specific work undertaken with current clients.
This service is not the delivery and support of the product, rather it is the customisation of the existing product to your organisation, the training of client staff to use the tool, along with knowledge transfer to members of staff such that they can continue to maintain and enhance the framework without any further assistance from ASE.

- Promotion of Best Practice: best practice can be embedded in the framework such that it is available to, and used by, all hence enhancing the quality of delivery
- More Accurate Budgeting and Forecasting: due to the availability of consistent metrics from past programmes and projects
- Improved Stakeholder and Supplier Management: due to the better understanding amongst stakeholders and suppliers of the processes and deliverables required during the delivery lifecycle
and for the ASE framework specific additional benefits include:
